Chris Law Guernsey’s young racing driver, has gained sponsorship from local firm Legis. Legis has been established for over 25 years, providing multi-jurisdictional corporate, fund and trust structures, together with administrative services, to institutional and private clients in association with Ozannes, one of the Channel Islands' leading law firms. Chris has been hoping for sponsorship from local businesses in Guernsey and hope now that one local firm has agreed to sponsor him/provided sponsorship, others will follow. Chris is at Croft–on-tee’s on 31st May 2008 in the Elf Renault Clio Championship round 9 and 10. When testing here last April in the official test Law left 4th fastest, something he hopes to repeat. When asked why he choose to sponsor Chris, Stuart Platt-Ransom, Managing Director of Legis Group Limited said 'The Legis Group is delighted to be supporting Chris in this years Renault Clio Cup Racing Series, although he is only 17 years of age he has demonstrated a real talent and we are confident he will go on to have a successful racing career in the future commented Stuart Platt-Ransom, group managing director of the Legis Group. Law’s father William said “we really appreciate Legis help so we have dedicated one quarter of the roof flag to them still hoping to fill the other three, from other local businesses. Chris is a true petrol head he is totally dedicated to motor sport and he tries really had with his racing, we all hope he can get that little bit of luck now to see him finishing well into the top 10”.
