The Bubblegum Bangers is the ultimate European adventure! The action packed and crazy Euro road trip taking 6 days, covers 6 countries in bangers worth no more than £500 (no satellite navigation allowed!). Driving through some of Europe's most beautiful countryside, through France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany, where (hopefully) to get to drive the Bangers on the world famous 13 mile Nurburgring Circuit. Then onward over beautiful mountain passes into Switzerland, staying on picturesque Lake Geneva then on to a final big party and prize giving night in Paris.
BubbleGum Bangers will be a totally unforgettable experience, raising a target £25,000 for Guernsey based Charity, Mines Awareness Trust (MAT). The aim is to finally finish the Mine Clearance programme in Rwanda, saving the lives of families and children.
There are 140 competitors and 55 cars taking part. Island FM and the Guernsey Press will also be with them, as well as an assortment of recovery vehicles!
Saturday Sept 27th12 noon Bubblegum Bangers with Police convoy drive to Harbour for ferry to St Malo.
Sunday 28th September - Rouen – BELGIUM – HOLLAND to Amsterdam
Monday 29th September - Amsterdam – GERMANY to Nurburgring Circuit
Tuesday 30th September - Koblenz – Lake Geneva SWITZERLAND
Wednesday 1st October - Lake Geneva – Paris - THE FINISHING LINE !

Thursday 2nd October - Paris – St Malo, ferry back to Guernsey
There are 3 in Chloe’s team, and the current idea, mechanical issues aside, is to take a Nissan Patrol, which will be lovingly painted to look like Del boys yellow Robin Reliant, the only difference being, it will be known as “Tuckers Independent Traders” and not Trotters Independent Traders! Chloe has been given the vehicle for free, but upon their return their have to buy it or auction it and give the proceeds to MAT.
