Valerie Goodwin
Associate Director, Legis Fund Services
Valerie is an associate director and company secretary of Legis Fund Services Limited. She was born and educated in Guernsey and has over 20 years’ experience in the offshore finance industry. After gaining a 1st class BA Honours degree in London in 1982 her career in the offshore finance industry began in Guernsey in 1987 with Rothschild Asset Management. She was first deputy to the sales and marketing director and later manager to their shareholder and broker services teams. She joined Butterfield Fund Services (Guernsey) Limited in 2004 as deputy company secretary, progressing to head the corporate secretarial team where she had responsibility for a variety of corporate structures including listed entities.
Valerie joined Legis as associate director and is responsible for the Corporate Secretarial Section of the Fund Administration Department.
